The number of housing units per appartment building is the basis for the costs of the connection – there are no more complicated calculations with connection power and living space necessary.
The same applies to the arising expenses. You can choose single payment or you can pay a low monthly rate. From 25 housing units on, the monthly rate is only 1 Euro.
- This connection model is available for new customers of district heating of Energie Graz. The property has to find itself in a place within the mains power supply or near a planned section of the network expansion of Energie Graz.
- The monthly rate for the district heating connection is deducted once a year in the course of the regular district heating consumption billing and is also taken into consideration in the pre-invoice of the monthly rate. Instead of the monthly payment a one-off-payment after the construction of the connection is possible as well. If desired, Energie Graz can provide a special low price offer on request.
- The pre-conditions for getting a district heating connection are the technical feasibility of the connection as well as the existence of the required authorization. Furthermore the connection model is only feasible at the in the respective price list named quorum of new customers in the apartment building.
- The connection model applies for the shortest possible pipe. If more than six apartments are connected in the respective apartment building the length of the pipe must not exceed 30 meters. If less than six apartments are connected, the length of the pipe must not exceed 15 meters. Any additional pipe lengths desired from the customer – necessarily within the mentioned maximum distance – will be charged separately.
- The financial support of Energy Graz and the country Styria for the prevention of particulate matter is elongated up to 31.12.2010. If one has the right to get the financial support, one has to bring the facility into service no later than 30.06.2011.
